About Us
Our charm lies in our simplicity
Highly rated for its peaceful atmosphere, friendly family-run service and excellent beachfront access.
Riviera first opened in 1979 as a small mocamp by the sea, with 12 hotel rooms and a camping area. The bungalows were added later, but the spirit of the place has stayed much the same: rustic, peaceful, family-run and close to nature.
Still owned by the same family, Riviera has slowly grown from dry, empty land into a quiet seaside place surrounded by gardens and trees. Almost every wooden piece of furniture has been handmade over the years, adding to its simple and personal character.
Many of our staff have been part of Riviera for decades, helping create the familiar, welcoming atmosphere our guests remember. Mr. Altay’s magic tricks, card tricks and warm conversations with guests have always added a special personal touch.
Riviera is not a luxury resort. It is a quiet hidden gem by the sea — full of history, memories, simple comforts and easy days by the water.
